As more homeowners in East Sussex switch to renewable energy, battery storage systems are becoming an essential addition to any solar panel setup. Shield offers advanced battery storage solutions that allow you to store excess energy generated by your solar panels, so you can use it when the sun isn’t shining.
This helps you reduce reliance on the grid, lower energy bills, and enjoy greater energy independence.
A solar battery storage system allows you to capture and store surplus energy produced by your solar panels during the day for later use. Instead of sending excess electricity back to the grid, you can store it and use it during the evening or on cloudy days.
This ensures that you’re getting the most out of your solar system and minimises your reliance on grid electricity—saving you money while enhancing your home’s energy efficiency.
At Shield, we provide tailored battery storage solutions to meet the needs of homeowners across East Sussex.
Whether you’re adding a battery to an existing solar panel system or looking to install a new,
fully integrated solar-plus-storage setup, we have the expertise to deliver a solution that works for you.
We assess your energy usage and solar generation to design a battery storage system that meets your needs. Whether you require a compact system for minimal storage or a high-capacity battery for maximum energy independence, we’ll customize the solution for you.
If you already have solar panels installed, Shield can easily integrate a battery storage system with your existing setup. This allows you to store surplus energy without making significant changes to your current installation.
Shield works with top-tier battery manufacturers, providing you with durable, long-lasting battery storage solutions. We offer a range of options, including lithium-ion batteries, which are renowned for their efficiency and longevity.
A battery storage system doesn’t just save you money; it also provides backup power in the event of a blackout. Your home can continue running smoothly even when the grid goes down, giving you peace of mind and ensuring continuity.
With Shield battery storage systems, you can monitor your energy usage and storage in real-time through intuitive apps. Track how much energy you’re storing, monitor your usage, and optimize when you draw from your battery or grid.
We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We’ll assess your home’s energy needs and solar generation potential to design the best battery storage solution for you.
We only work with reputable battery manufacturers, ensuring that your system is reliable, durable, and able to meet your energy storage needs for years to come.
